Happy Birthday, Philip Stead - July 13
If you search, "Philip Stead Born" or "Philip Stead Birthday," Google will tell you that Philip was born on December 27th.
However...it is incorrect!
I met Philip Stead at the Mazza Museum in Findlay, Ohio and as I do with all authors and illustrators, when I meet them, I asked him his birthday.
His birthday is July 13th, not December 27th.
December 27th is his wife, Erin Stead's birthday. Philip believes that someone copied and pasted his wife's information to a wikipedia page about him.
So, adjust your author birthday calendars! I added his birthday to mine! Happy Reading!
